Research Interests

I focus on understanding the impact of climate change on hydroclimatic extremes, particularly floods and droughts, and their implications for water resource management and crop production. As climate patterns shift, the frequency and intensity of these extremes are expected to increase, posing significant challenges to water management and agricultural productivity. I am particularly interested in developing models to predict extreme event occurrence probability by integrating climate projections, hydrological models, and AI. This research work aims to provide actionable insights for policymakers and stakeholders towards a resilient future.
